Scott Benson
Scott Benson, a native of Utah, began work in the field of immigration law in 2001 as an attorney for a non-profit organization in Salt Lake City, where he represented many immigrants and refugees before federal agencies and the immigration court system. Many of these persons also had needs above and beyond immigration, and Scott represented them before state courts and administrative courts in matters ranging from guardianship to criminal defense to public benefits adjudication.
As an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University, Scott majored in Asian Studies and Korean. He later studied law at the University of Oklahoma.
Scott speaks Korean and Spanish, and some Japanese. He is admitted to practice law in the states of Texas and Utah, and is Board Certified in Immigration & Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
