Monica N. Saenz
Monica obtained her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2008. While there she was an Octa-finalist in the Jenkens & Gilchrist Annual First-Year Moot Court Competition, and Executive Articles Editor (2007–2008) and Staff Writer (2006-2007) for The Scholar (St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Major: English; Minor: Spanish) from Southern Methodist University in 2005. While at SMU, she belonged to several honor societies, and was the Hearing Board Chair for the University Hearing Board, and Board Member of the University Honor Council. Monica has been working as an Immigration attorney at a local law firm since March 2009 and has experience in family immigration as well as removal defense. She will primarily be working in our Family Immigration Practice Area. Monica is fluent in Spanish.
