Alex Garcia

Associate Attorney

Alex is from San Antonio, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and has been part of the firm since 2009. Alex became interested in immigration issues while he studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to joining DMCA, Alex clerked for the Honorable Judge Bruce Black in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Alex assists clients through the entire immigration process from start to finish. He has experience in several areas of immigration law including family based immigration, consular processing, citizenship, asylum, VAWA petitions, U visa petitions, and removal defense. Alex is also particularly interested in helping our military with their immigration needs.

Alex is a member of the Texas Army National Guard where he serves as a reserve Judge Advocate General Attorney. He is also a member of Phi Delta Phi, international legal fraternity.
