Who We Are

We are a eighteen-lawyer law firm dedicated to practicing Immigration law exclusively. Joseph B. De Mott, our founding partner, has been practicing immigration law in San Antonio since 1976. The firm handles all types of Immigration cases including employment based, family based, labor certifications, all non-immigrant visas including E, F, H, L, J, O, and R Visas, outstanding professor/researcher petitions, National Interest Waiver petitions, asylum applications, deportation hearings, bond hearings, citizenship applications. In addition to English, we are fluent in Spanish, and also speak French, Italian, German, Korean, and Japanese.

Marisol L. Pérez es originario de San Angelo, Texas. Recibió una Licenciatura en Artes en Ciencias Políticas de la Universidad de Texas-San Antonio y su título de abogada de la Escuela Santa María de la Ley, donde recibió el Richard Green Espíritu de la Justicia Social en reconocimiento a su trabajo clínico en nombre del personas de bajos ingresos en San Antonio y el sur de Texas.

Alex Garcia

Associate Attorney

Alex is from San Antonio, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and has been part of the firm since 2009. Alex became interested in immigration issues while he studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to joining DMCA, Alex clerked for the Honorable Judge Bruce Black in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Jorge G. Aristotelidis

Associate Attorney

Jorge G. Aristotelidis has practiced state and federal criminal law in and out of Texas for almost 20 years. He is a former Assistant Federal Public Defender who helped handle one of the country’s largest criminal dockets, in the Southern District of Texas, Laredo Division. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, and is one of a select group of double-board certified lawyers in Texas, certified in both criminal law and criminal appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Faye Kolly

Faye M. Kolly, a native Texan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Saint Louis University School of Law. Faye is well rounded in several areas of immigration law and is dedicated to providing comprehensive short and long-term immigration legal strategies.

Robert A. Jimenez

Associate Attorney

Attorney Robert A. Jimenez practices in the area of criminal law, and has represented clients in a broad array of both felony and misdemeanor cases. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Robert was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2008. He was a solo practitioner until joining the firm in 2011. Robert is dedicated to helping clients at each stage of their case, from pre-trial hearings all the way through trial.

Monica N. Saenz

Associate Attorney

Monica obtained her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2008. While there she was an Octa-finalist in the Jenkens & Gilchrist Annual First-Year Moot Court Competition, and Executive Articles Editor (2007–2008) and Staff Writer (2006-2007) for The Scholar (St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Major: English; Minor: Spanish) from Southern Methodist University in 2005.

Nicholas D Gordon

Nicholas D. Gordon, a native of Utah, comes to DMCA after practicing immigration law for a couple of years in the Washington, D.C. metro area. After living in Guatemala from 2001 to 2003, he graduated summa cum laude from Utah State University in 2005 (Major: Political Science; Minor: Spanish) where he was also recognized as the Valedictorian of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. While in law school at George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia, Nicholas interned at the U.S.

Maria Pilar Llusa

Associate Attorney

Maria Pilar has exclusively practiced immigration law in the Houston area since March 2001. She represents clients in all immigration matters but her primary focus is in employment based immigration. Maria Pilar assists employers in obtaining temporary, nonimmigrant visas for business persons, managers and executives, treaty investors and traders, professionals, exchange visitors, students, and crew members working on the Outer Continental Shelf.

William Fagan

William Fagan obtained his J.D. in 1990 from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was Assistant to Pro. Robert Prentice (Business Law textbook; preparation and legal research and writing). In 1988 he graduated cum laude from the University of Dallas, B.A. in Political Philosophy. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and is also a Certified Financial Planner.

Enrique Maciel Matos

Enrique obtained his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law where he was on the Dean’s List and was the recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While at St. Mary’s, Enrique was a member of the National Hispanic Moot Court Team and the Jessup Moot Court Team, and was a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues. Enrique obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with Honors. Additionally, Enrique holds a Masters in Global Trade, Finance and Economic Integration from the University of Denver, where he also graduated with Honors.

Angelique Montano

Angelique obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center (cum laude, 2001). While there she worked as a Student Attorney for the Law Center’s Immigration Law Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Angelique is licensed in the State of Texas and is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
